Maintenance Technician II-Hilton Grand Vacations at the Las Vegas Hilton!!

Provides excellent service to both external and internal customers.  Maintains the guestrooms, public space, and back of the house areas in good repair to ensure an attractive and well-maintained property.  Position duties relates to to a variety of trades that include but are not limited to carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical, basic troubleshooting for air conditioning, painting, wall covering, and masonry.
Job Requirements :

1.      High School graduate or GED equivalent required.

2.      Graduation from an accredited trade school or combination of education with five (5) years training/experience in a hospitality environment that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform as a maintenance technician required.

3.      Must be familiar with operations of a commercial hi-rise building, including but not limited to life safety systems, boilers, pumps, plumbing systems and HVAC systems.

4.      Must be proficient with the tools of the trade to perform duties associated with these systems.

5.      Experience with preventative maintenance program highly desired

6.      Advanced knowledge of all maintenance trades including basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.

7.      Excellent mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of property equipment.

8.      Skill in the use of related tools, both electrical and hand tools.

9.      Basic English language communication and mathematical skills in order to communicate with co-workers, fully comprehend job assignments, and perform accurate simple arithmetic functions.
