Description:
POSITION PURPOSE:
The primary responsibility of this position is to sell vacation packages to qualified families over the phone with the requirement that the family attend a Vacation Ownership presentation.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Sells mini-vacation packages for multiple property locations following the business rules for corporate Telemarketing.
• Provide appropriate and accurate information about Hilton Grand Vacations, HGVC resorts, off-site accommodations, promotions and premiums.
• Maintain individual sales and marketing goals for performance measurement.
• Create interest and excitement about the HGVC mini-vacation package for the prospects.
• Treat all prospects in a professional, courteous and respectful manner.
• Maintain a positive and motivated attitude.
Job Requirements : QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
• Minimum of a High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Basic Computer Skills
• Ability to work in a structured call center environment.
• Ability to maintain a calm demeanor if a prospect becomes upset.
• Excellent verbal and phone hospitality skills.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Ability to apply basic concepts of math (such as additional fees and sales tax).
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
