Penthouse Lounge Manager

Hilton Grand Vacation is currently seeking a Penthouse Lounge Manager. As a Penthouse Lounge Manager you are responsible for supervising the Penthouse Lounge Agents and Food Service Staff to ensure proper guest service in accordance with HGV’s high standards of quality. Furthermore, the Penthouse Lounge Manager is responsible for checking and maintaining all Penthouse Level Rooms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Review Penthouse level arrivals, amenity orders for incoming and in-house guests. Communicate with other departments to ensure proper handling of owners and guests.
* Maintain contact with Front Office, Reservations and Sales regarding requests for special accommodations etc. Administer and distribute the Penthouse level occupancy report on a daily basis. Administer the Hhonors program and make sure that all Hhonors guests receive the standard amenities on a daily basis. Ensure that the Penthouse Lounge reception has an ample supply of welcome letters daily.
* Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency and/or heavy Penthouse Level activity and resolve complications such as room changes or credit issues. Field guest complaints, conducting thorough research to develop the most effective solutions and negotiate results. Plan and implement detailed steps by using experience, judgment and discretion. Maintain inventory and purchase Penthouse Level supplies as needed.
* Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff. Observe performance and encourage improvement. Administer disciplinary procedures when necessary.
* Compute daily/monthly payroll, schedules, expenses and forecast. Monitor Penthouse Lounge traffic and make staffing adjustments accordingly. Analyze data and make decisions based on previous experience and knowledge of circumstances to prepare daily forecast of expected arrivals and departures.

* Minimum of five years direct resort operations experience, of which two to three years are in a supervisory capacity.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Strong knowledge of collective bargaining agreements and leading in a unionized environment if applicable.
* Demonstration of leadership, decision-making, challenge solving and communication skills with all the levels of the organization.Ability to communicate effectively via both oral and written communication.
* Ability to deal effectively with all levels of guests, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy.
* Ability to work flexible schedules.
* Strong knowledge of windows based software for correspondence, presentations and report generation.
* 4 year college degree preferred.
* Ability to prioritize multiple duties and tasks.
* Analytical ability to analyze reports and provide recommendations for process improvements.
* Ability to coordinate and cooperate with other departments.
* Ability to accurately and completely compose written correspondence and training materials.
* Manual dexterity necessary for typing.
* Knowledge o the following systems: OnQ/ VOICE
