Essential Functions:

* Assists in training all laundry team members
* Assists in scheduling staff according to standards and forecasted occupancy; assigns daily work tasks to team members.
* Assure that daily productivity quota is met or exceeded
* Assure that the employees have the supplies necessary to perform their duties.
* Perform shift associated work such as loading washers, dryer and folders.
* Assists in daily linen counts for monthly inventory
* Responsible to maintain the laundry clean and well organized
* Document and communicate maintenance requests to engineering department to ensure resort service quality standards are met.
* Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner and conduct follow-up to ensure guest satisfaction.
* Assist/conducts training classes regarding safety, security, department procedures and service guidelines.
* Assist in the performance review process on a quarterly and yearly basis.
* Will be required to work in fast paced stressful environment.
* Displays professional image at all times through appearance, dress and conduct Follows company philosophies, polices and procedures and is able to effectively communicate them to subordinates.
* Ensures hotel is in compliance with all federal, state and local laws, including OSHA.
* Other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements :
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* Minimum of 1 year housekeeping experience required
* Bi-lingual preferred
