Job Summary
Responsible for various planning and reporting processes for the Resort Operations area of Hilton Grand Vacations, including Club, Property Management and Rental / Retail. The planning responsibilities include the annual Operating Budget, the Capital Expenditure Budget, the monthly forecast / flash, and the 10 Year Plan. The reporting and analysis responsibilities incorporate monitoring and analyzing the monthly financial results, monthly reporting on club members and club transactions, executive reporting and analysis, and ad hoc reporting, analysis and support for Finance and Resort Operations. The Financial Analyst also assists the Director in providing ongoing financial analysis to support senior management and to determine opportunities for efficiencies and profitability improvement.
Basic Qualifications
Four-year college degree – Accounting/Finance.
2+ years experience in financial analysis.
2+ years hands-on computer experience with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Word and accounting software.
2+ years experience in budgeting and forecasting.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA, CPA or CMA preferred.
2+ years experience in the creation or maintenance of financial models a plus.
Experience in related industries (hotel/resort, property management, real estate development) a plus.
Experience with PeopleSoft financial systems a plus.
Knowledge of financial measurement techniques (IRR, NPV, Pro formas, etc.) a plus.
